Alpaca Cottage is a new one-bedroom barn conversion in Southover. It sleeps two. The rating is 3 Star, which is accurate. It's clean, comfortable, and modern, but not luxurious.
The main thing is the view. The front is mostly glass, so you look straight out over the valley. It's very peaceful. You can sit out on the patio and watch the alpacas in the field. They belong to the farm.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The kitchen is modern. The stairs up to the bedroom are a standard spiral staircase. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room.
It's a very rural spot. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. There are a few pubs within a short drive. Dorchester is about ten minutes away by car for supermarkets and shops.
The coast is accessible. Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast are within half an hour. For walking, the Dorset walking website is useful, and the National Trust has most of the coastal sites.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
