This is Bluebell, our Shepherd's Hut. It's on our land in Dudleston, near Ellesmere. It's detached and has its own little deck with a hot tub.
It sleeps four. One bedroom, all in one open-plan space. There's no bathroom inside the hut itself. The shower block is a shared one, about a minute's walk away. It's clean and modern. The hut is rated 2 Star. It's comfortable and cosy, but it's glamping, so it's simple.
The hut has Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There are four other pods on the same field, so you might see other guests. You can book more than one if you're coming as a group.
The location is quiet. It's countryside. You're right on the edge of the Shropshire and Wales border. Alderford Lake is nearby for walking or paddleboarding. Ellesmere is close and has the mere for a stroll.
You can get to Llangollen in about half an hour. It's good for a trip out to see the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both within a 30 minute drive too.
For local info, the Shropshire Hills website has walking routes. Visit Wales covers the area just over the border.
