Beech - Glamping Pod Dudleston

This is the Beech pod. It's one of two glamping pods we have on the farm in Dudleston, near Ellesmere.

It's a basic, wooden pod for two people. It's got one room that's the living area by day and the bedroom by night. The seating turns into either two singles or one large bed. You'll need to make the bed up yourself, we leave the bedding in bags for you.

There isn't a private bathroom. The shower block is a shared facility about a minute's walk from the pod. It has proper showers and toilets, plus an outdoor sink for washing up or prepping a barbecue. There's a sunroom attached to it as well, if you fancy sitting somewhere different.

It's got a 2 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but it is simple. The wifi works in the pod.

The view out the front is over fields. You can see the village church in the distance. It's quiet.

You're right on the border. Wales is about a mile down the road. Ellesmere is close, it's got the Meres and some nice shops. Oswestry is the other way for bigger stores. St Martins village has a supermarket, a cafe, and a pub if you need anything quick.

Lots to do within half an hour. Chirk Castle and Erddig are National Trust places. The Pontcysyllte and Chirk aqueducts on the Llangollen Canal are worth seeing. Whittington Castle is nearby too. For a day out, you can get to Shrewsbury, Chester, or Ironbridge in under an hour.

There are five pods in total on the farm, so you can book more than one if you're coming as a group.

We accept up to two dogs.
