Faith Cottage
Faith Cottage is in Chittlehampton. It's a small village inland, about half an hour from the coast. The cottage is in a row on a quiet lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and works fine, but it's not a showhome. It's just a straightforward place to stay.
There's a wood burner in the front room. It's nice on cooler evenings. We leave a bit of wood for you to start with. The stairs are a bit cottagey and narrow at the top. Just so you know.
You can bring a dog, up to two. There's street parking outside. The facilities are basic: wifi, TV, washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included.
It's a good spot if you want to walk. The Tarka Trail goes right through Umberleigh, which is the next village along. You can walk or cycle it for miles. Exmoor National Park is about a twenty-minute drive east. For beaches, Saunton Sands and Westward Ho! are roughly half an hour away by car.
Barnstaple is the main town nearby for bigger shops. Chittlehampton itself has a pub. It's called The Bell Inn and it does food.
