Taymount Cottage is in Caputh, Perthshire. It's a two-bedroom cottage right by the River Tay. The view is what you're paying for. You can see the river from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with king-size beds, and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's an enclosed garden at the back with a barbecue. The garden has high fences, good if you have dogs.
Speaking of dogs, you can bring two pets. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave some logs to get you started. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive.
The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, just to mention it. The WiFi works fine.
Caputh is quiet. There's a village shop about a ten minute walk away. Dunkeld is about a ten minute drive. They've got shops, cafes, and the cathedral there. Scone Palace is about twenty minutes away.
If you're into fishing, the River Tay is famous for salmon. You need your own permit. For wider walks, you're close to the Cairngorms National Park. It's about a 40 minute drive to the park boundary. Glenshee is within an hour if you're coming in winter.
