This is Havard Stables Apartment 1. It's in Brecon town itself, on a lane just off the high street. It's a ground floor flat in a converted stable block. The building is old and listed, so the walls are thick. It feels quiet inside.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one shower room. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. There's underfloor heating.
You've got a small kitchen with the basics. The living area has a TV and a sofa. There's a separate utility cupboard with a washer and dryer, which is handy.
You're a two minute walk to the high street. There are cafes, butchers, a couple of pubs. Brecon Cathedral is at the end of the street. The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is about a five minute walk away for a flat stroll.
For the hills, you drive. Pen y Fan is about a twenty minute drive to the car park, then it's a walk. The Brecon Mountain Railway is near Merthyr Tydfil, maybe 30 minutes. Hay-on-Wye is about 25 minutes drive. Crickhowell is 20 minutes.
Included: all bedding and towels, WiFi, the underfloor heating, and parking for one car right outside. No pets.
