The Bungalow

The Bungalow is in Dale. It sleeps fifteen, which tells you it's a big place. It's Victorian and detached. The house is over a hundred years old, so it's full of character, but that also means some things are a bit quirky. The doors are heavy. Some of the floorboards creak. It's part of the charm.

You get the whole place and the garden. There's parking on the gravel drive for several cars.

Inside, it's set up for big groups. There are seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, so you shouldn't have to queue. There are two kitchens and three different living rooms. It means people can spread out. One of the lounges has an open fire. The Wi-Fi is fine for browsing.

The best thing is the view. It looks directly out over the bay. You can see the sea from several rooms. There's a gate at the bottom of the garden that takes you straight down onto the beach. It's shingle, but it's private and perfect for a swim or launching a kayak.

Dale village itself is small. There's a shop for basics and a couple of pubs. The Griffin does decent food. The whole area is about being outside. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right past the property. You can walk for miles.

If you want to explore, Milford Haven is about fifteen minutes away for bigger supermarkets. The city of St Davids is half an hour's drive for the cathedral and more restaurants. For castles, you've got Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle, both within half an hour.

It's a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's not a modern show home, it's a solid, spacious family house by the sea.

You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. All bedding and towels are provided. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
