This is Isla's Cottage. It's in Nairn, which is on the Moray Firth coast. A terraced cottage, nice and central in the town.
It's a four star place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There’s a double downstairs and twin beds upstairs. The stairs to get up there are a spiral staircase, and they are steep. The ceiling upstairs slopes too, so mind your head.
Downstairs is open plan. There's a wood burner in the old fireplace, which is good for cooler evenings. The kitchen is small, but it has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine as well.
You've got a little enclosed garden out the back. Parking is on the street right outside, which is usually fine.
Location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the high street. There's a baker, a butcher, a couple of cafes and a pub. The beach and the harbour are about a 15 minute walk away. There are two golf courses in the town.
If you want to go further out, Culloden Moor and Cawdor Castle are about a 20 minute drive. Fort George is maybe half an hour. Good for a walk along the coast there, or if you're interested in the history. For a longer day, you can get to Inverness in under 40 minutes.
The place takes up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one.
