Bow Fiddle is a bungalow on a quiet street in Nairn. It’s detached, so no neighbours sharing walls. The garden goes round it. There’s a bit of patio to sit out with a coffee.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so everything’s in good order. Everything works. It’s a bungalow, so no stairs to worry about.
You’re a few minutes’ walk from the seafront. Nairn’s a proper Victorian seaside town. Two good sandy beaches and a promenade. The harbour’s still working. This coast is known for dolphins, you might see them from the beach.
The town has what you need: shops, a few restaurants, pubs. There’s a big nature reserve along the coast with dunes and woods for walking. The golf courses are well-known.
Lots to see if you drive. Culloden Battlefield is about 15 minutes. Historic Environment Scotland’s page has visitor details. Fort George, the big garrison fort, is maybe 20 minutes. Cawdor Castle is about the same. Inverness is roughly a 20 minute drive up the road.
Inside, it’s all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive. Sorry, no pets.
