Braehead
This is Braehead. It's a detached house in Nairn, up on a bit of a slope. You get the whole place and the garden. It’s not overlooked.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The shower is good. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance, which is useful for some.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a hundred yards down the road. The famous beach is a five minute walk. It's a good beach, wins awards.
Nairn itself is handy. There's a proper harbour and the championship golf course is here. You can do boat trips from the harbour, or try some local fishing. They sometimes spot dolphins along this coast.
Inverness is about a 20 minute drive if you need a bigger town or the airport. Culloden Battlefield is on the way there. Fort George is close by too, and Loch Ness is within half an hour. If you like whisky, the Malt Whisky Trail starts not far from here.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
