This is Dolphin Cottage in Nairn. It's semi-detached and sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the beach, which is sandy and good. The harbour and marina are just down the road. There's a shop about 500 yards away, and a pub and restaurant even closer, maybe 100 yards.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and an enclosed patio garden. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. The stairs are mentioned as being steep, narrow, or spiral, so it's worth knowing that upfront.
From here, you can walk to the championship golf course. You might see dolphins from the beach, but I can't promise that of course.
For days out, Inverness is about a 15-20 minute drive. Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, and Cawdor Castle are all within half an hour. Loch Ness is about the same. The Moray Coast has some nice villages to drive along.
