Dolphin Cottage is our place in Nairn. It's a semi-detached house, built in stone. It's on a street a few minutes back from the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. There's a shower room downstairs, and another bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable. It's not brand new inside, but it's warm and dry.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed with a wall and a gate, so it's secure.
The front door opens right onto the pavement. The beach is about a five minute walk. Just follow the street down. You can see dolphins from the shore sometimes.
There's a shop a few minutes away. The pub is closer, just at the end of the street, and they do food. The golf course is about a ten minute walk. Nairn is a proper golf town.
Inverness is half an hour's drive west. You've got Culloden Battlefield that way too. East along the coast, Fort George is about twenty minutes. It's a good place to visit. The Moray Firth dolphins are often seen from the ramparts there.
For days out, you're well placed for Loch Ness and a lot of castles. Brodie and Cawdor are both within a short drive. If you like whisky, the Speyside distilleries are about forty minutes south.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove in the living room. We leave some logs to get you started. You've got a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included.
