Moray Firth View
Moray Firth View is a second-floor apartment in Nairn. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the Moray Firth. You can see the Black Isle across the water and along the beach eastwards. It's a proper view.
The balcony is good for it. There's a set of binoculars in the apartment because you'll use them. There's a pod of dolphins that live here. You often see them close to shore on a rising tide, especially near the river mouth.
The beach is literally a one-minute walk. You go down the stairs and you're there. There's a beach cafe right on the sand, the Strathnairn. They do good seafood and cakes.
The apartment itself is a 4 Star. It's spacious, it's clean. It's got everything you'd need: washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, parking. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, which is handy.
Nairn's a good-sized town. It's got history, it's got shops, there's a couple of golf clubs right along the coast. It works as a base.
If you drive, you can get to a lot in under half an hour. You can be in the Cairngorms National Park, or down by Loch Ness, or on the NC500 route. But honestly, with the beach on the doorstep and that view, you might not feel like going far.
