Culcharry Cottage
Culcharry Cottage is in Blairmore, about four miles outside of Nairn. It's a detached house, so there's no one next door. The garden is big and fully fenced, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. It backs onto woods, so it feels quiet.
The house sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything you'd need is there. The heating is electric and there's a woodburning stove in the living room for colder nights. Firewood isn't included.
You're about a mile from the nearest shop and a pub, Cawdor Tavern. The village of Cawdor is lovely to walk around. Cawdor Castle and its gardens are right there and open in the summer. For a bigger shop, Nairn is ten minutes down the road. It's got those long, sandy beaches and a couple of golf courses.
If you want to go further, Inverness is about half an hour's drive. For outdoor stuff, the Cairngorms National Park is within half an hour. That's where the skiing, mountain biking, and proper walking trails are.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking for two cars on the drive. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
