Culcharry Cottage

Culcharry Cottage is in Blairmore. It's a detached stone cottage on its own. There's a big garden around it, completely enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog or kids. At the back, the garden goes straight into some woods.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

You're right out in the country. There's a farm track at the front. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in Cawdor village. The pub does food. Cawdor Castle and its grounds are right there, open in the summer.

Nairn is about four miles east. That's where you go for the long sandy beach and the golf. Inverness is roughly half an hour's drive west for bigger shops.

You're well placed for getting to things. The Cairngorms National Park is south, maybe a 40 minute drive. There's walking, the mountain railway at Aviemore, and skiing in winter. The coast and the Moray Firth are just a few miles north. For local history, Culloden is about twenty minutes away.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside for two cars.
