Cragellachie Cottage. It's in Wester Galcantray, which is a few minutes from Croy and about seven miles from Inverness. It's detached, so no neighbours sharing walls. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a proper old building, about two hundred years old, so the rooms are a good size but the ceilings are a bit low in some places. Mind your head if you're tall.
You get a clear view out over the fields. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right there.
The nearest shop is about a mile away in Croy. For a pub that does food, you're looking at about three miles. The Castle Stuart golf course is two miles down the road. It's held the Scottish Open.
Inverness is close for supermarkets and things. From there you're well placed for Loch Ness, about twenty minutes south. Culloden Battlefield is very close, maybe a ten minute drive. Fort George is about twenty minutes north along the coast.
If you like walking or mountain biking, there are plenty of forest trails around here. The coast and the Whisky Trail distilleries are within a half hour drive.
