Ballagan Lodge Leanach

Ballagan Lodge is in Leanach. It's a single-storey wooden cabin, so everything is on one level. There's a deck that goes around three sides. The table and chairs are out there if you want to eat outside.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and its own toilet. The second room has two singles. There's a separate shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.

The living area is all one room with the kitchen and dining. The sofa faces a big window so you get the view across the fields. The kitchen has what you need.

You're right near Culloden Battlefield, about two and a half miles. They've got a visitor centre there. The Clava Cairns are prehistoric stones, also nearby. It's a popular area for Outlander filming.

Inverness is about a fifteen minute drive. They've got shops, restaurants, a cinema, and the Eden Court Theatre. The coast at Nairn is about twenty minutes away. There's a beach there.

A local pub is two miles away. You're on the edge of a working farm. The main road is close, so you can hear a bit of traffic sometimes.

It's a good base for getting around. Loch Ness is about half an hour's drive. For planning, the National Trust for Scotland Culloden page has good information. Highland Council lists local events and road info.

Facilities: parking right outside, TV, WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's no washing machine. No pets.

There's another identical lodge next door. They can be booked together if you're a group of eight.
