Drummond House

Drummond House is on the A96, halfway between Inverness and Nairn. It's near Loch Flemington. The place sits in a big, fenced garden with lots of trees and quiet spots to sit.

It sleeps five, in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize and a single bed, the other has two singles. There's one bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept.

When you come in, there's a hall for boots and coats. The main room is open plan, with sofas, a TV, and a good view over the garden to the hills. The kitchen leads to a dining area, and there's a conservatory at the back with more seating.

The garden is large. There's lawn and shrubs, and you'll often see rabbits. Sometimes a deer passes through.

Loch Flemington is about a hundred metres away. It's a protected area for birds like the Slavonian grebe. It's good for a walk. The loch used to be famous for trout fishing.

You're about 15 minutes from Inverness Airport and 20 minutes from Inverness city centre. Inverness has the usual shops, places to eat, a cinema, and golf. Nairn is 15 minutes the other way. It's a seaside town with a sandy beach.

From here, you can get to a lot of the main sights in under half an hour. That includes Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, and Cawdor Castle. Loch Ness and dolphin watching on the Moray Firth are also within easy reach.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and bike storage. The garden is enclosed. Up to three pets are welcome.
