The location is quiet, in a housing area. It's about a fifteen minute walk into Nairn town centre. The East Beach is maybe ten minutes away by car, it's a nice stretch. Culbin Forest is out that way too, good for a walk. The beach itself is about a mile and a quarter.

For getting about, it's easy. You're just off the A96. Inverness is about fifteen miles east. The airport is nine miles.
