Taigh Na Tunnagan
This is Taigh Na Tunnagan. It's a flat, not a cottage. It's in Nairn, which is a nice town just east of Inverness. You're right on the edge of town, looking out over the river.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's in good order. Everything works and it's clean.
It's about a fifteen minute walk from the flat to Nairn's West Beach. That's a proper sandy beach, good for a walk. The flat has its own enclosed garden. You get ducks on the river, which is quite nice to watch. The stairs up to the flat are external and a bit steep.
In the town there are shops, a couple of supermarkets, and some places to eat. There's a good chip shop. For a bigger day out, Inverness is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the castle and the museum there.
If you like golf, the Nairn Championship course is very close. For walking, Culbin Forest is just over the other side of the river. It's good for a long, flat stroll among the pines. Further afield, Culloden Battlefield is about fifteen minutes by car.
The flat has parking for one car right outside. There's WiFi, a TV, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
