Avondale
Avondale is in Clacton on Sea, about a ten minute walk from the beach. It's a big house, sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's a solid, clean place for a group. It isn't fancy, but there's plenty of room. One bedroom and a shower room are on the ground floor, which is useful.
There's a conservatory off the kitchen. It's good for when it's raining. The garden is enclosed. It's got a patio area with a BBQ. You can park on site.
The house has the things you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can leave a cot and highchair if you tell us. We allow up to two dogs.
Clacton itself is a proper seaside town. The pier has amusements. Everything is walkable, shops, pubs, the seafront. Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze are along the coast if you want a change of scene.
If you drive, Colchester is about half an hour away. The castle is worth a look, and Colchester Zoo is good for a day out. For local walks, the Essex Wildlife Trust has reserves nearby.
