This place is called Ye Olde Mottram Chip Shop because it used to be a fish and chip shop. It's in Mottram in Longdendale, which is right on the edge of the Peak District. The cottage itself sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need. The main thing you should know is about the stairs. They're spiral, and they're steep. That's just how they are.
It's a good spot if you've got dogs, we allow two. There's a fully enclosed garden, so they can't get out. The garden has a hot tub in it.
Mottram is a large village. There are a couple of pubs that do food about a mile away, plus a café and some restaurants. For a bigger shop, Glossop is three miles away. It's a proper market town with supermarkets and things.
You're on the doorstep of the Peak District here. You can be walking on the moors in no time. Hayfield is close by for a walk up to Kinder Scout. Edale, Castleton, and Buxton are all within about a 40 minute drive if you want to explore.
If you fancy a city day, Manchester is half an hour in the car. Or you can get a train from Broadbottom station, which is just under two miles away.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed and has the hot tub. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
