The Beehive C29 is a detached cabin on a quiet, family-run caravan park just outside Machynlleth. It's in the trees at the bottom of the site, right by the river. You'll hear the water from the decking.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The living area is all open-plan. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not luxurious, but it's solid.
The deck looks out over the Dyfi Valley. It gets the sun in the morning. Good for a coffee out there.
Machynlleth is a five minute drive away, maybe ten minutes. It's a small market town, a bit alternative. There's a Co-op for food, some decent cafes, and a market on Wednesdays. It's in the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere.
If you like planes, this is a good spot for it. The cabin is under the Mach Loop. You'll see and hear low-flying jets quite often, especially on weekdays. Some people love it, some don't. Just so you know.
For walks, you're right on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. The National Trust has some good spots nearby. The Visit Mid Wales site has walking routes. The RSPB Ynys-hir nature reserve is about 15 minutes drive. The Dyfi Osprey Project is a bit further, maybe 20 minutes.
The coast at Aberdyfi is about 11 miles. It's a nice drive over the hills.
Facilities: there's parking right by the cabin, an enclosed decked area, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
