It's called Cowlas. It's a detached lodge just outside Aberhosan in Powys. The views are really good, straight out across the valley. It's very quiet.
It sleeps two people. There are two bedrooms, one double downstairs and a twin up in the loft. The loft space is a proper room, but you get to it via a staircase that's a bit steeper and narrower than a normal one. Just so you know. There's one bathroom with a double shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes farm vehicles. You have your own veranda and garden area. The hot tub is there, ready for you when you arrive. It's a good spot for it, looking out. There's a wood burner for colder nights, and the heating works fine. Everything's included, bedding and towels too. You can bring one dog.
For getting about, you're well placed. Machynlleth is about ten minutes drive. It's got shops, cafes, and a market on Wednesdays. The coast at Aberdyfi is maybe 25 minutes away. For walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Cadair Idris is close. The RSPB reserve at Ynyshir and the Dyfi Osprey project are both about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities wise, you've got the hot tub, the wood burner, WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. That's about it really.
