Gwdw Hw Glantwymyn

This is Gwdw Hw. It's a treehouse in Glantwymyn in Powys.

It sleeps five, but in a specific way. There's one main room. It has one double bed built into it and then bunk beds for kids. So it's four adults max, really, with space for a child. It's got a 4 Star rating. The shower is in a separate hut under the structure. The toilet is a compost toilet, on its own platform nearby.

The main space is open plan with a kitchen area, seating, and a wood burning stove. You access it by rope bridges and spiral staircases. It's all up in the trees.

You're in a woodland valley. It's quiet. You'll see wildlife from the windows. The site has tree hammocks and a stream.

For things to do, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park if you want to hike or climb. About half an hour west, places like the Red Ridge Centre offer activities like kayaking and zip wiring. Machynlleth is close by for shops, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Corris Craft Centre. Aberystwyth on the coast is about a 45 minute drive.

Facilities: the wood burner, on-site parking, bedding is included, and you have your own patio garden area. No pets.
