Gwenllian is a geo-dome on our small farm in Commins Coch, Powys. It's up on a hill at about 600 feet, so the views are very good. It was on that Adam Henson farm rescue show on TV a couple of years ago.
It's just for two people. One open-plan room with a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room, and a copper bath next to the bed. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need: a two-ring hob and a combination microwave oven. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished and comfortable.
Outside there's a deck with a wood-fired hot tub. There's a fire pit and a BBQ, and some outdoor sofas. We leave two mountain bikes for you to use if you want them. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, including the entrance.
You're about seven miles from Machynlleth. It's a quiet area, lots of wooded hills and old standing stones. You see red kites most days. For a bigger trip, the coast at Aberdyfi is about a 30 minute drive. The Cambrian Mountains are all around you for walking or cycling. Visit Wales has good information for the region.
It's glamping, so it's one room, but it's a proper building, not a tent. All bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking right next to it. No pets.
