Hollacombe Lodge Neopardy

Hollacombe Lodge is in Neopardy, near Crediton. It's a holiday lodge, single storey and made of wood, so everything's on one level. It's detached and quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. The bathrooms are big and have walk in showers. The living area is all open plan, kitchen at one end. It's got all the usual stuff like a dishwasher, washing machine, TV and Wi-Fi included.

It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's finished to a high standard. It's not just clean, it's very well fitted out.

The main thing is the view. The lodge looks straight out over a fishing lake. You have a private platform right outside if you want to fish, you can buy day tickets. The windows are large, you get a full view of the water.

There’s a mezzanine playroom upstairs. It’s accessed by its own internal stairs. It’s a good space for kids, or for extra storage really. There’s a children’s play area outside, but that's shared with the public sometimes.

It’s a rural spot, so you’re really here for the peace and the lake. Crediton is a few miles away for shops and pubs.

Within a half hour drive you've got plenty. Dartmoor National Park is to the south for walking. Exmoor is a bit further, about 45 minutes north. Exeter is about 20 minutes away by car if you need a city or the station.

In terms of facilities, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is right outside.
