Grattan Cottage

Bow village is a short walk away. There's a pub and a decent shop. It's a handy spot because you're pretty much in the middle of Devon. North coast, south coast, and Dartmoor are all within about a 30 minute drive.
If you want to plan trips, these sites are useful: Dartmoor National Park, National Trust Devon, and Visit Devon. For local gardens, RHS Garden Rosemoor is nearby. Castle Drogo is the last castle built in England and it's not far either.
