Crynant Countryside Retreat is near Neath, in Carmarthenshire. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. You get a decent sized garden and patio with it.

It sleeps four. One bedroom, but it has a double and bunk beds in that one room. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's clean and modern inside.

The layout is open plan. Kitchen, dining, and living area all together. There's a wood burning stove in there. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a one-cup boiler. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The location is quiet. You're looking out at fields. There's a pub in the village, about a ten minute walk. They do food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive into Neath.

If you like walking, you're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The Brecon Beacons National Park website has route ideas. There are waterfalls nearby, like Sgwd Gwladys. You can be in the Gower Peninsula, for the beaches, in about 45 minutes. Swansea is about half an hour away.

Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on site. WiFi and TV are there. You can bring up to two dogs.

For local history and places to visit, Cadw is the Welsh heritage site. It's useful for planning trips.
