Fig Tree Barn

Fig Tree Barn is in Blackness, near Pevensey in East Sussex. It's detached, just one building on the plot.

It's a one bedroom place for two people. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped. Everything has its place.

The layout is open plan downstairs. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep, so you need to be careful. The bed is a double. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There's a washing machine and dishwasher, and towels and bedding are provided.

You can park right outside.

There's a pub you can walk to, about ten minutes away. For a proper beach, you'll want to drive. Cooden Beach is about ten minutes by car. Eastbourne seafront is about fifteen minutes.

The village is quiet. For history, Pevensey Castle is close by. It's an English Heritage site. The Pevensey Levels are good for birdwatching and flat walks.

Eastbourne is the nearest town for big shops and the cinema. Glyndebourne opera house is about half an hour's drive. If you like golf, there are quite a few courses around, the nearest one is just over a mile away.
