Seahardy

Seahardy is a house in Greatstone on Sea. It's about 200 yards from the beach, just off the coast road on a quiet street.

It sleeps four in three bedrooms, plus a bunk bed for children and a pull-out bed for an extra child. There are two bathrooms, the main one is en-suite. It's rated 4 Star. The place is clean and modern.

The living area is all open plan. There's a big sofa and a 65 inch TV with a Playstation. The kitchen-dining room is large, with French doors leading out to the deck and garden. It's a good space if you're all together.

The garden has a lawn with fruit trees. At the top is a summerhouse with a games room in it. It gets the sun.

The beach here is sandy and long, with dunes. Not everyone knows about it. The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, the small steam trains, run through the village. The Sound Mirrors are on the nature reserve nearby. They're concrete structures built to listen for planes in the 1920s.

New Romney is three miles away for supermarkets and shops. Dungeness is close. It's a strange, flat shingle beach protected for its wildlife. A lot of artists live and work there. Rye is about a 30 minute drive. It's an old town with cobbled streets, shops and a harbour nature reserve. Port Lympne wildlife park is also within half an hour.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We supply a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
