This is Yew Tree House Cottage in New Romney. It's a terraced cottage, double fronted so you've got windows on both sides of the living room. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's rated 5 Star, which means it's been finished to a high standard. The garden's walled, which is nice.
Inside, it's been done up. The kitchen has patterned tiles and dark blue units. The living room and dining room have wood burners. Upstairs, the bathroom has herringbone tiling. Both bedrooms are doubles.
The main thing people talk about is the garden. There's a raised deck with a sunken bathtub. It's outside, so you can have a bath looking at the sky. You'll either love that or think it's not for you.
You're about five minutes' walk from New Romney high street. There are a few cafes and places to eat there. The beach at Littlestone is about a mile away. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walks. You can drive or walk it.
Locally, the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is here. It's a miniature steam train that runs to Dungeness. Dungeness is a strange, flat shingle beach with a lighthouse and the nuclear power station. It's a unique spot. Greatstone is next along the coast, with more beach.
For a day out, Folkestone is about 20 minutes by car. They've got the Creative Quarter and the Harbour Arm. Hythe is closer, maybe 15 minutes, and has a canal you can walk along. Dover Castle is about half an hour away.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
