Set within the North Norfolk village of South Creake, you’ll find this perfect retreat for guests seeking charm and comfort. This property really does have everything you need for a great break, including a lovely enclosed courtyard garden to sit back and relax with your favourite glass of tipple. The kitchen is well equipped to offer dining at home with all the cooking utensils you may need, or if you prefer, a short stroll across the village green and treat yourself to a delicious meal at the village gastro pub.
There are a wealth of things to see and do nearby. The stunning coastline is a short drive, where you will find a selection of wide sand or shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes, rolling sand dunes, and picturesque quays all waiting to be explored. It is also very close to the Norfolk Broads so make the time to explore these much-celebrated waterways.
For a change of pace, head into the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, numerous museums, galleries, and theatres and a host of great places to shop, eat and drink. History buffs will be spoilt for choice with the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates all within easy reach along with the North Norfolk Railway and lots of local museums. Wildlife lovers will enjoy walks around Sheringham Park, and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve there’s also Amazonia Zoo, BeWILDderwood, Bure Valley Railway, great golf courses, a choice of lovely walks and cycle routes and a host of other attractions. You will soon see why this part of Norfolk remains so popular with visitors.
