Dee Valley View
Dee Valley View is an apartment in Aboyne. It's in a peaceful lane, part of an old hotel that's been converted. The front door is your own. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps four quite comfortably. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get a bit of garden to sit out in, and it looks over the lawn to the River Dee. It's a nice spot to sit with a drink. There's parking right there.
The village centre is a short walk. There's a big green where they hold the Highland Games. You've got a few shops and places to eat. The golf club is nearby. People sometimes see ospreys from the Osprey Deck on the river, which is just behind the property.
If you want to go further, you're right on the edge of the Cairngorms. Braemar and Balmoral are up the road. For skiing, Glenshee and The Lecht are within about an hour's drive. Aberdeen is about 45 minutes away if you need a city or bigger shops.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburning stove for the colder evenings. No pets, sorry.
