This is Lodge B. It's in Dinnet, in Aberdeenshire. It's one of seven lodges set in the grounds of the Loch Kinord Hotel. You're right on the edge of the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve, so you step out into woodland and moor.
The lodge sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. It's detached, so it's just you. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a living area with TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside, and you can store bikes. You can bring one dog.
You're free to use the hotel facilities. Their restaurant does good food and the bar has a lot of whiskies if you fancy a night off from cooking.
The nature reserve is the main thing here. It's part of the Cairngorms National Park. Good walking paths. The Burn o' Vat is worth seeing, it's a large water-carved bowl in the granite. You can walk right into it.
For other things to do, there's fishing and horse riding locally. The village of Ballater is about a 15 minute drive. Aberdeen is less than an hour away via Royal Deeside. If you're here in winter, the skiing at the Lecht and Glenshee is within a 30 to 45 minute drive.
If you've got a bigger group, you can book this lodge with the others. Together they sleep up to 30.
