Lodge E is in Dinnet, Aberdeenshire. It's a single-storey pine lodge on the grounds of the Loch Kinord Hotel. You look out onto birch trees and the Muir of Dinnet nature reserve.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and warm. The layout is open plan.
You can use the hotel facilities. They have a restaurant and a bar. The bar has a whisky selection if that's your thing.
The back gate opens straight into the nature reserve. It's part of the Cairngorms National Park. The paths are good for walks. Look out for red squirrels. The Burn o' Vat is a notable feature, a big hollow in the rock you can walk into.
Ballater village is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a nice spot for shops and food. Royal Deeside is all around you for driving. Aberdeen is under an hour if you need a city.
For activities locally, there's fishing, horse riding, and golf. The ski resorts at the Lecht and Glenshee are within a thirty minute drive for winter sports.
Facilities here: everything is included, bedding, towels, electricity. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
