Lodge G is in Dinnet, Aberdeenshire. It's one of seven lodges in the grounds of the Loch Kinord Hotel. The lodges are detached, so you've got your own space. You can use the hotel's restaurant and bar if you want, which is handy.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level, no stairs.
The back of the lodge looks right onto the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve. You can walk straight out into it. It's part of the Cairngorms National Park. There's a thing in the reserve called the Burn o' Vat, which is a big hollow in the rock with a waterfall. You can walk in through a gap and have a look. It's a good walk from the door.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV and WiFi. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside and a place to store bikes. You can park right next to the lodge.
You can bring one dog. There's also a golf course nearby, and you can go fishing or horse riding locally. In winter, the ski slopes at the Lecht and Glenshee are about a half hour drive away.
Ballater is a 20 minute drive. It's a nice village with shops and places to eat. Aberdeen is about 45 minutes away by car if you need a city.
