Lodge F is in Dinnet, Aberdeenshire. It's a detached lodge in the grounds of Loch Kinord Hotel, which you can see out the back. The rear looks straight onto the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve, so it's quiet and you can just walk out the back gate.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Everything is on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. We keep it clean, it's modern and works properly.
You're welcome to use the hotel facilities. There's a restaurant and a bar that serves food, which is handy if you don't want to cook. They have a lot of whiskies, naturally.
The back gate goes right into the nature reserve. It's part of the Cairngorms National Park. There are paths for walks. The main feature is the Burn-o-Vat, which is a huge granite bowl carved by a glacier. You can walk into it. It's unusual.
For planning walks and days out, useful links are the Cairngorms National Park site and the NatureScot page for Muir of Dinnet.
The village of Ballater is about six miles away. It's a nice spot with shops and places to eat. Royal Deeside is all around. For skiing, the Lecht and Glenshee are both within half an hour's drive, conditions depending.
Facilities: There's parking right next to the lodge. It has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside. Bicycle storage, too. You can bring one dog.
If you need more space, you can book it with the other lodges here.
