Riverbank Cottage
Riverbank Cottage is on our farm, Brockholes Farm, by the River Lune near Tebay. It's detached and all on the ground floor.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom, which is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is open plan, leading into a conservatory that opens onto the garden. The view from there is up the river, which is quite something.
The garden is yours to use. There's a shared play area for children on the farm. You're welcome to walk across our land, and there's fishing on the river.
You're right between three big areas. The Lake District National Park is closest, maybe 15 minutes' drive to the really famous bits. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is just east of here. And the North Pennines are to the north. Kirkby Stephen is a few miles away for shops and pubs. Kendal is about 10 miles.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. We take up to two dogs.
