Beck Foot Cottage
Beck Foot Cottage is on the farm here in Howgill. It's part of our working farm, so you'll see sheep and cows about. The entrance is gated from the yard.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. It's clean and comfortable, but it's not posh. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, a bit steep.
You've got your own little garden out the back through the kitchen. The kitchen has a farmhouse table and a view over the fields. The living room has a smart TV and some old furniture that's been here for years.
Sedbergh is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. It's a proper little market town with cobbled streets and bookshops. There's a golf course nearby, and fishing in the local rivers.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For walking, you can head straight out from the door. The Howgill Fells are right there. Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, and the southern lakes are all within half an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
