Combe Cottage Tebay

This is Combe Cottage out at Brockholes Farm. It's near Tebay, just off the M6. It's the biggest one we've got here, sleeps eight.

It's an old farm building done up. Four bedrooms, all on the ground floor. Two have their own bathrooms, and there's a third bathroom as well. Upstairs is just the living room. It's a big space with doors that open onto a small balcony. You look out over the valley and the River Lune. The views are good.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It means it's comfortable, with decent fixtures. You've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You get your own bit of garden with seating. There's a shared kids' play area too. You're welcome to walk on the farm land. There's fishing on the river if that's your thing.

The location is the main thing. You're right in the middle of it all. The Howgill Fells are right there. You're practically surrounded by national parks. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are both about a 30 minute drive. Kirkby Stephen is close, it's a proper little market town. Kendal is about 20 minutes away for bigger shops.

You can bring up to two dogs. We have a cot and highchair if you need them.
