Woodrow is a lodge off the A711, near Beeswing. It's detached and overlooks Mabie Forest. The garden is yours to use and there's a hot tub on the deck.
It's got two bedrooms, so it sleeps four. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept and comfortable. Everything's on one floor, so the entrance and the rooms are wheelchair friendly.
The layout is open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
You're right on the edge of the forest. The 7Stanes mountain bike trails are there. You can see the start of some routes from the property. The Loch Arthur Farm Shop is about a mile away in Beeswing for lunch or shopping.
Dumfries is about a fifteen minute drive for supermarkets and more shops. Castle Douglas is a bit closer, maybe ten minutes. It's known for food shops.
The coast is accessible, places like Sandyhills Bay are within half an hour. Galloway Forest Park is about a twenty-five minute drive. It's a large area for walking. On a clear night, it's a Dark Sky Park.
There are other similar lodges here if you need more space for a bigger group. We don't allow pets.
