Holmbyre Smithy is right by the river on the edge of Dalry. It's a detached cottage, so there's no one attached to the walls. It's fairly big.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means everything's in good order. There's a private hot tub out the back.
The property looks out over the river. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
Out the front there's a patio and garden area.
For getting out, Dalry town has the basics. The bigger coast is about a twenty to thirty minute drive. The Ayrshire Coastal Path is all along there if you want a long walk.
Within about half an hour you can get to places like Culzean Castle, which is National Trust. Ayr is a traditional seaside town about twenty five minutes away. The ferry to Arran goes from Ardrossan, which is also within half an hour.
Further out, you're an hour or so from Glasgow, or into Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Day trips to Ireland are possible from Cairnryan port.
