Hill End Farmhouse
Hill End Farmhouse is in Dalry, Ayrshire. It's a detached farmhouse. The place sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd need.
There are French doors out to the garden from the main living area. The garden is landscaped and there's a pond. Inside, there's a wood burner, but it's an electric one. It looks the part and puts out heat, but it's not a real fire. The stairs are normal.
You get a hot tub, which is set up on a decked area outside. The owner runs a hair and beauty clinic a couple of minutes walk away. You can book treatments if you want, but there's no pressure.
There's a shop about a quarter of a mile away. A pub and restaurant are half a mile. The coast at Seamill is about seven and a half miles drive.
For getting out, you're on the edge of the Ayrshire Coastal Path. You can join it at Skelmorlie. Culzean Castle is about a 25 minute drive. It's a good day out with the estate walks and beach. If you want to go further, you can get ferries from Largs to Millport on Cumbrae, or to Arran and Bute. Glasgow is just over half an hour by car.
Facilities are all there: parking, wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
