Tennox Parlour
Tennox Parlour is in Kilbirnie, in Ayrshire. It's a detached house in a small, private estate with a gate. The house looks out over fields and a river.
It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and it's well-equipped. It's a comfortable, spacious place.
You have your own garden and parking right outside. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
The estate is quiet, but you're not isolated. There's a pub that does food about half a mile away. The nearest shop is in Kilbirnie itself, about two miles.
If you like walking, the Ayrshire Coastal Path is right on the doorstep. You can see Arran from the coast. For golf, Turnberry is about twenty minutes' drive. Culzean Castle is spectacular and well worth a visit.
You're about nine miles from the coast near Largs. Glasgow is less than an hour's drive if you want a day in the city. You can get ferries to Arran or the Isle of Cumbrae from Ardrossan or Largs quite easily.
My wife runs a hair and beauty clinic a couple of minutes' walk from the house. You can book treatments if you want, everything from a haircut to a full day of pampering. It's there if you fancy it.
