Tennox Boathouse Kilbirnie

You’ve got about 100 acres of land around you to wander, so it feels quiet. The nearest shop and pub are in Kilbirnie, about a mile and a half away. There’s a restaurant half a mile down the road.

For things to do, the Ayrshire Coastal Path is right there. It’s good for walking and you might see seals. Culzean Castle is nearby, which is run by the National Trust for Scotland. Turnberry golf course is about a twenty minute drive. Ayr is a traditional seaside town, about fifteen minutes away by car.

Further out, you can get to Glasgow in under an hour, or Loch Lomond in a bit over an hour. Ferry ports for Arran are about forty minutes away.

Facilities: parking right at the cottage, washing machine, dishwasher, bed linen and towels included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
