Apple Tree House
Apple Tree House is in Dalry in Ayrshire. It's a semi-detached cottage, three bedrooms, sleeps six. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. There are two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people.
The village is small. There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The pub does food. The cottage has its own enclosed garden.
It's a good spot for getting out. The Ayrshire Coastal Path is on the doorstep for walks. You're about eight miles from the coast. If you play golf, Turnberry is half an hour's drive. Culzean Castle is about twenty minutes away and is worth a visit. It's run by the National Trust for Scotland.
You can get to Glasgow or Stirling in under an hour if you fancy a day in the city. Edinburgh is about an hour and a half. Loch Lomond is similar. Ferries to Arran go from Ardrossan, which is about forty minutes by car.
The owner runs a hair and beauty clinic two minutes from the house. You can book treatments if you want, but there's no obligation.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible, but you should check with us about the internal layout if you have specific needs. No pets.
