Dalgarven Spa House

Dalgarven Spa House is a big place just outside Dalgarven village in Ayrshire. It sleeps 29 people if you fill all the beds, and there are nine bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It's not a normal cottage. You book the whole house and grounds, so it's just your group. It's set up for things like big family gatherings or groups of friends. There's a function room, a private bar area, and a games room.

The main thing people book it for is the spa. Outside there's a big commercial hot tub that fits ten people, in its own fenced-off area so it's private. Inside, there's a thermal suite with a sauna and steam room.

Because it's a big house, the layout is a bit different. All the bedrooms are en-suite, which is handy with a big group. There's on-site parking. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but you'd need to check the specifics inside if that's important for you.

The location is quiet, in the countryside. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about two miles away in the village. The coast is about seven miles.

If you're looking for things to do, Ayrshire is good for walking and cycling, especially the Ayrshire Coastal Path. For golf, Turnberry is nearby. Culzean Castle is a National Trust for Scotland property and it's spectacular, well worth a visit. It's Burns country too, so there are related sites like his cottage if that's of interest.

You can get to Glasgow or Stirling in about an hour for a day out. Edinburgh is a bit further, maybe an hour and a half. Loch Lomond is within an hour's drive. Ferries to islands like Arran go from Ardrossan, which isn't far.

Facilities included are things like a dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels, and a woodburning stove. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
