Sorbie Villa is in Ardrossan. It's the lower conversion of a Victorian villa, about 200 yards from the sandy beach. You get a decent bit of garden to yourselves, and there's a park right next to it that leads straight down to the sand. Good for dogs.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is a step up. It's well finished and comfortable. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy.
The town's shops, pubs, and places to eat are all within walking distance. The beach is right there, like I said. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs past, so you can walk for miles along the coast. The view across to Arran is really something, it changes all the time.
Within half an hour you can get to Largs, West Kilbride, or Troon. The ferry to Arran leaves from Ardrossan harbour. Ayr is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Glasgow is about an hour by car or train if you fancy a city day.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included.
