Seamill Cottage
This is Seamill Cottage, in West Kilbride. It's a two bedroom house that sleeps four, and it's got a four star rating. It's right on the Ayrshire coast, about a twenty minute walk from Seamill beach. You can see the sea from the front.
The place is yours, with a small enclosed garden out the back. It's got parking for one car. Inside, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are here. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
The property is on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, so you can step right out and go for a walk. The beach has good sand and views out to Arran and Ailsa Craig. There's a hotel a short walk away that does meals, and a local pub.
For golf, West Kilbride Golf Club is the closest links course. Royal Troon and Turnberry are about a half hour drive. You're well placed for islands too. You can get a ferry from Ardrossan to Arran in under thirty minutes. Millport on Great Cumbrae is about forty minutes by car and ferry.
If you want a big day out, Culzean Castle is about forty minutes south. It's National Trust for Scotland. Glasgow is an hour's drive, or you can get the train from nearby stations.
