Rhiw Gam is a detached bungalow in Abbeycwmhir. It's on one level, which is handy. The front looks out over forestry.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms: two doubles and a single. One bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The rating is 4 Star. It's clean and comfortable.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar. The living room is a good size, with a dining area and a wood burner. There's Sky TV with Netflix and Now TV included.
The garden is enclosed. There's plenty of seating out there and parking for a few cars on the driveway. There's a store for bikes if you bring them.
The local pub is about thirty seconds walk away. For shops and more places to eat, you'd drive to Rhayader or Llandrindod Wells, which are about ten or fifteen minutes away.
You can walk straight from the door. Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke paths are close by. The Elan Valley is a short drive and well worth seeing for the dams and scenery. In Rhayader, you can see the red kite feeding at the Gigrin Farm Kite Feeding Station. There's also mountain biking in the Coed Sarnau forestry.
For a wider day out, the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells is within half an hour. Llandrindod Wells has a golf course, a swimming pool, and a lake.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels. It's family friendly, with a cot and highchair available. You can bring up to two pets.
