Castle View Glamping is a pod on our family farm in Llanbister. It's called that because you look right out at the Tinboeth castle ruins. You can walk to them from the door.
It's for two people. One room with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is new and works properly. You can get a car right up to it.
It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep, maybe some tractors. It's quiet. You get your own bit of patio with a table.
The Elan Valley is about a 20 minute drive. It's spectacular for a walk or a drive around the reservoirs. Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour south. Rhayader is 15 minutes away, they have the red kite feeding station.
For a day out, Hay-on-Wye is 40 minutes. Builth Wells for the Royal Welsh showground is 20 minutes. The bookshops in Hay are the main thing there.
There's a pub that does food a mile down the road. The nearest shop is in Llandrindod Wells, about 10 minutes by car.
What's here: TV, bedding and towels are provided, there's a highchair and a cot if you need them. The entrance is level. No pets, because of the livestock.
